I cannot believe I have not written this review yet. Never wrote one before but thought that It was worth putting out. It has been almost a year since my husband and I got married in Maui. Most of our 80+ guests stayed here. Rooms are updated and gorgeous and walking distance to Lahaina town restaurant, museum, and shops. The fully equipped kitchen was also a plus for my large family. I normally do not care about hotel toiletries but the shampoo and conditioner smelled so good and worked so well, I have ordered them from the manufacturer and they cost $! The only bad thing is that we had to drive in circles to find the place, because it is nestled in town...google maps did not work...but that's all....this place is the best...and the price can't be beat!

My husband and I stayed here on our honeymoon and just randomly picked this hotel. It ended up being in the perfect spot! its 1 block from the wharf and Front Street where all the shops in Lahaina are and the bus stop is at the wharf so its a quick walk to hop on a little bus that will take you anywhere you want to go for only 1.00!!! Aina Nalu is very nice and the infinity pool is gorgeous. We will always stay at Aina Nalu each time we stay on Maui. Best vacation experience ever!!! Each time you return they swap your necklace with a white nut instead of the brown ones just a small way saying thank you :#41 I cant stress enough how GREAT the location was!! Lots of little shops and restaurants on the wharf and lots of places to stop and sign up for activites.

We stayed here for 8 days and 7 nights in May 2010. The location is great within walking distance to the beach warf shops theater and lots of places to eat. This development is located less than 3 miles from a safeway. We purchased groceries and cooked all our breakfast meals in the condo. The kitchen was ewuiped with everything we needed. Two gas grills are located at the garden pool for use during pool hours. The interiors of the condos are simple clean and relaxing. The pool was a little too waqrm for a refreshing swim after a hot day outside but Im sure at night when its cooler it is enjoyable. I loved everything BUT....and this is a HUGE BUT.....they charge * A DAY for parking and street parking is almost impossible because this place is in sucha good location. There is a public parking lot that charges by the hour across the street but it is almost just as much.

Our trip started off a little rocky with our travel agent and the reservation, but we could not have been happier after we checked in. Everyone was so nice and our one bedroom condo was exactly what we wanted. The grounds were beautiful and the pools were exceptional. I would love to visit Maui again and stay at the Aina Nula. The Ainu Nala Outrigger resort in Lahaina is perfectly situated on the West side of Maui. Lahaina is a very walkable small town. You can easily walk from one end to the to other and the resort is somewhat centrally located. TIP: If you are going on the cheap, you should really upgrade to a room with a kitchenette. It's worth the price. It is very expensive to eat out every day & night. We had a small studio room which was adequate for our first time, but I think my wife and I would have preferred the upgrade. From Lahaina, Kannapali and Kihei are not very far by car. Both are worth while. If you like putt-putt, (miniature golf) play the mini course in Maalea. It's fun! My wife and I had a great time and we would highly recommend the resort.
